Depending on the engine you select, you can
choose the six-speed manual transmission or one of two advanced
six-speed automatics: the PowerTech automatic or the Dual Dry Clutch

UNDERBODY
AERODYNAMIC TREATMENT
The 2013 Dodge Dart includes available underbody
belly panels that cover a large portion of the underbody and are more
typically found on luxury vehicles.
Extensive use of
these and additional underbody treatments collectively reduce
aerodynamic drag. In addition to the aerodynamic benefits, the panels
also help reduce road noise in the passenger compartment.

MultiAir technology is an electro-hydraulic system that
controls intake air, cylinder by cylinder and stroke by stroke,
depending on the precise operating conditions and demands from the

ACTIVE
GRILLE SHUTTERS
The Dodge Dart is the first Dodge vehicle to use
an active grille shutter system. It reduces drag by redirecting airflow
around the front and down the sides, rather than through the vehicle,
enhancing aerodynamic performance.
Engine coolant
temperature and vehicle speed determine whether the shutters are open or
closed. For example, the shutters will automatically close at highway
speeds, when less engine cooling is needed and open during hot city
driving, traveling up a hill or pulling a trailer.

Rain-sensing wipers detect moisture on the windshield and
activate automatically. The system is especially useful for sudden road

wheel to adjust the wiper controls as the rain level

KEYLESS ENTER 'N GO™
Keyless Enter 'n Go™ lets you unlock the doors by touching
the front door handles as long as you have the key fob on you. Once
inside, you can start the engine by pressing the Engine Start-Stop
button and stepping on the brake or clutch pedal. This convenient

R/T.
REAR CROSS PATH DETECTION
There are certain things that a driver who's backing out of a
parking space just can't see, like a car coming from either side.
Available on the Dodge Dart Limited, Rear Cross Path Detection -
available on Dodge Dart Limited and R/T - helps solve that problem,
using radar to detect lateral movement on both sides of your car and
warning you when something's coming.
