If you’re looking for your next new car or SUV, Jeep® Chrysler Dodge of Ontario has plenty to offer San Bernardino and Riverside shoppers. There are many changes in the works for each of the four brands we carry, and we’ve outlined some of the biggest ones below.
2017 Chrysler Models: Soon the Chrysler 200 will be no more. The 2017 Chrysler 300 will only have minor changes. That leaves a certain amount of pressure on the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. One of the first 2017 models to be released, the replacement for the Chrysler Town & Country has outperformed expectations, proving to be a popular and critical success. Its bold design is backed by genuinely useful features like Stow ’n Go seating, and there is plenty of space whether you’re hauling family or cargo. One power train (a 287 horsepower V-6 coupled to a nine-speed automatic transmission) powers all trim levels now, but later in the year a plug-in hybrid joins the lineup.
2017 Dodge Models: The Dodge Dart has gotten the axe, and we’re guessing that the success of the Chrysler Pacifica means the Dodge Caravan may also be on the way out. It, and the 2017 Dodge Durango and 2017 Dodge Journey, will only get minor changes this year. The 2017 Dodge Viper will also be the last of its kind, but it’s being sent out in style with a number of special editions. The fourth generation. UConnect infotainment system brings a touch interface on an 8.4″ display, plus Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, to the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger, which also receive new trim levels and option packages.
2017 Jeep Models: The Jeep Renegade is still new, and sees few changes. The Jeep Patriot and Jeep Compass come in for replacement soon, so we don’t expect much there either. The Jeep Wrangler enters its new generation in model year 2018, so it’s also likely to stay the course for now. There are changes elsewhere, however, including a new compact crossover (possibly the Jeep Patriot/Jeep Compass replacement), a new Trailhawk trim for the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and trim changes for the 2017 Jeep Cherokee.
2017 RAM Models: The 2017 RAM 1500 and RAM ProMaster are expected to carry over mostly as-is from 2016. A larger grille, new graphics, and new exterior trim come to the 2017 RAM 2500 Heavy Duty, but we’re really looking forward to the strengthened rear axle, limited-slip differential, hill-descent control, and Bilstein shocks in the new Off-Road package.
