The 2022 Jeep Renegade houses a rambunctious 1.3-liter MultiAir® direct injection Turbo engine with fuel-saving Start/Stop technology, 16 valves, and a single overhead camshaft. It is mated with a nine-speed automatic transmission and will crank out up to 177 horsepower and 210 lb.-ft. of torque. The Sport trim comes as a standard front-wheel drive vehicle. However, a four-wheel drive is an option. The rest of the trim levels are equipped as either four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and they all include the Jeep-exclusive Selec-Terrain® system.
