2027 Chrysler Pacifica: Trims, Pricing, Towing, and Cargo Space

The 2027 Chrysler Pacifica pairs a 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It produces 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available on the Select, Limited, and Pinnacle trims.

For 2027 the Pacifica receives a mid-cycle refresh rather than a full redesign. The Select, Limited, and Pinnacle trims get a new front end and updated interior finishes, the Uconnect® Theater and Family Tech packages have been separated into standalone options, and the Voyager nameplate has been folded into the lineup as the new entry-level Pacifica LX. Towing Capacity

Properly equipped with the available Trailer Tow Group, the 2027 Pacifica tows up to 3,600 pounds. Chrysler publishes that figure and describes it as Best-in-Class towing for the minivan segment. The V6 makes 262 lb-ft of torque. That is enough pull for a small utility trailer, a personal watercraft, or a light camper.

Trailer Sway Control is part of the package, and the Electronic Stability Control system compares the driver’s intended path against the vehicle’s actual path, then applies selective braking and may reduce engine throttle to help bring the vehicle back on line. On Select, Limited, and Pinnacle, available all-wheel drive can be combined with second- and third-row Stow ‘n Go seating, so all-weather traction does not cost you the fold-flat cargo floor.

Exterior Design and What’s New for 2027

The most visible change for 2027 is an all-new front end on the Select, Limited, and Pinnacle trims. Vertical LED projector headlamps flank an illuminated grille carrying what Chrysler calls a “piano keys” lighting signature, and a new illuminated Chrysler wing badge sits at the center of the front fascia. The same badge appears on a redesigned rear lightbar appliqué, tying the front and rear together. Chrysler has said this front-end treatment is the design blueprint for the next generation of Chrysler vehicles.

One detail is worth being direct about, because it is the single most misread part of this model year: the LX does not receive the new front end. The LX carries over the exterior design of the outgoing Voyager it replaces. If the new fascia and illuminated grille are what drew you to the 2027 Pacifica, you need the Select or higher — the entry price on the LX does not include the refresh.

New wheel designs and an expanded paint palette round out the exterior updates. Olive Green is available now, while Ember, Glass Gray, and Steel Blue are listed as later-availability colors. The available S Appearance Package adds darker badging and appearance elements on the Select and Limited, including a black Stow ‘n Place® Roof Rack System. Underneath the styling, Chrysler builds the Pacifica body structure from a mix of high-strength steel, aluminum, and magnesium to keep the shell both light and stiff, with aluminum used in the hood and doors. Interior and Comfort by Trim

The 2027 cabin keeps the layout families already know and upgrades the materials. A Satin Chrome Chrysler wing badge is inset on the steering-wheel airbag cover across the lineup, and each trim above the LX gets its own interior treatment.

The Select pairs new Light Tungsten stitching with Silver Anodized accent bezels. The Limited moves to a Black Nappa leather-trimmed interior with Light Tungsten stitching and piping, Satin Chrome accent bezels, and Fade On/Off front LED lighting outside. The Pinnacle sits at the top with a model-exclusive Blue Agave Nappa leather interior as standard, accented by Tungsten Patina non-metallic piping, Copper Alloy bezels, and instrument-panel deco trim finished in Dark Platinum. Pinnacle seats also use a new Parquet perforation pattern.

The LX is the budget entry point but is not stripped out. It comes standard with power sliding side doors, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. And one convenience upgrade applies to every 2027 trim: a new adjustable-height power liftgate, which lets you cap how far the hatch rises. That matters more than it sounds if you park in a low-clearance garage.

Stow ‘n Go® Seating and Cargo Space

Stow ‘n Go is the Pacifica’s signature feature, and Chrysler describes it as Class-Exclusive among minivans. Third-row Stow ‘n Go seating is standard on every trim, and second-row Stow ‘n Go seating is standard on the LX, Select, and Limited. Those seats fold flat into bins under the floor. The Pinnacle uses second-row seats that are removable or tumble forward instead.

With the second- and third-row seats stowed or removed, you get an estimated maximum of 140.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the front seats. With all three rows up, you still get an estimated 32.3 cubic feet behind the rear seats. Seven-passenger seating is standard on most models. Eight-passenger seating is available, and Chrysler counts up to 243 total seating configurations across the lineup.

Safety and Security

Chrysler states that the 2027 Pacifica carries the most standard safety and security features in its class. The standard driver-assistance content on every trim covers Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, a Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking system, LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, a Blind Spot Monitoring system, ParkSense® Rear Park Assist, and Rear Cross Path Detection.

The available Safety Sphere Package is where 2027 adds new capability. It bundles a 360-degree Surround View Camera and Front and Rear Park Assist with Stop alongside two features new for this model year:

• Turn Signal-Activated Blind Spot View — engaging the turn signal puts a live camera feed of the adjacent lane on the center touchscreen, so you can see what the mirror does not.
• ParkSense-Based Camera Activation — when the park sensors detect an object, the system automatically brings up the camera view showing it, instead of leaving you to find the right angle yourself.

Technology: Family Tech Group and Theater Group

Chrysler separated these two packages for 2027, and it is the most practical change on the option sheet. In prior years the rear-seat entertainment hardware was bundled with the everyday convenience tech, so buyers who wanted one paid for both. Now they are ordered independently.

The Family Tech Group is available on the Select and Limited and standard on the Pinnacle. It includes a 10.1-inch Uconnect® 5 touchscreen display, an upgraded audio system — a 19-speaker Harman Kardon® premium system or a 13-speaker Alpine® system depending on model — the FamCAM™ interior camera, a Stow ‘n Vac® integrated vacuum, second- and third-row window shades, a 115-volt power outlet, and a third-row USB charging port. FamCAM shows the second and third rows on the center screen with split-screen and automatic night modes, including a direct view of a rear-facing child seat. It is not available on the LX.

The 2027 Pacifica lineup spans four trims: LX, Select, Limited, and Pinnacle. The LX, previously sold as the Chrysler Voyager, serves as the entry point and is offered with front-wheel drive only. The Select, Limited, and Pinnacle trims are each available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

Which 2027 Pacifica Trim Fits Your Family

Every trim uses the same engine and transmission, so this decision is about equipment, interior materials, and drivetrain rather than performance. Each one involves a real trade-off.

LX. The lowest entry point in the lineup, and genuinely well equipped for the money with power sliding doors, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Two honest limitations: it keeps the previous-generation front-end styling, and it is front-wheel drive only. FamCAM is also unavailable on this trim.

Select. The first trim with the 2027 front fascia and the first with all-wheel drive on the option sheet, which makes it the most common landing spot for buyers who want the refresh without stepping up to leather. Second-row Stow ‘n Go is standard here.

Limited. Adds Black Nappa leather trim, Satin Chrome interior accents, and Fade On/Off front LED lighting, and it is the trim where the Safety Sphere Package becomes available. Still keeps second-row Stow ‘n Go.

Pinnacle. The most finished interior in the lineup, with standard Blue Agave Nappa leather, Copper Alloy accents, and Safety Sphere included rather than optional. The trade-off is real and worth knowing before you commit: the Pinnacle does not offer second-row Stow ‘n Go. Its second-row seats are removable or tumble forward, so reaching maximum cargo volume means taking the seats out and finding somewhere to store them. If dropping the second row into the floor on short notice is central to how you use a minivan, the Limited may suit you better than the trim above it.
