Chrysler unveiled their latest marketing campaign this past President’s Day — Premium to the People.
The videos highlight the state-of-the-art features available on Chrysler models, as well as their “Imported from Detroit” slogan. American cars to appeal to patriotic American drivers, in other words.
The campaign stars two former presidents, Bill Pullman (Independence Day) and Martin Sheen (The West Wing).
Pullman acts as the straight man to Sheen’s over-the-top patriotism, responding wryly to Sheen’s “star-spangled nonsense.”
“Everything I own is star-spangled,” Sheen declares in retort. “Everything!”
Though President’s Day is over, the Premium to the People campaign has just begun, and more videos, social media interactions, and print ads are expected over the coming months.
